These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LeonieMccarthy website and the professional organising, decluttering consultancy, and lifestyle management services offered by LeonieMccarthy. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
LeonieMccarthy provides in-home and virtual organising consultations, decluttering sessions, and lifestyle management planning for households in South Africa. All services are delivered on an agreed schedule and scope of work. We do not guarantee specific timeframes for completion, as each project varies by size and complexity.
You agree to provide accurate information about your home and needs prior to any session. You are responsible for securing any necessary permissions from landlords or body corporates before we begin work. You must ensure a safe working environment, including clear access to areas being organised and disclosure of any hazards (e.g., pests, structural issues, or hazardous materials).
LeonieMccarthy acts as a consultant and organiser; we do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, LeonieMccarthy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of items, damage to property, or emotional distress. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific session giving rise to the claim.
All materials provided during consultations, including checklists, guides, and digital resources, remain the intellectual property of LeonieMccarthy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials without prior written consent.
Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a charge of 50% of the session fee. We reserve the right to cancel a session if we deem the environment unsafe or if the client is uncooperative.
Either party may terminate a service agreement at any time with written notice. Upon termination, you are responsible for payment for any services already rendered. LeonieMccarthy reserves the right to refuse service to any client who violates these terms or behaves in a threatening or abusive manner.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
